Enhanced Ashtanga

A fun class to boost your Friday mornings. To complement your regular Ashtanga Led class and Mysore practice, the Enhanced Ashtanga class focuses on developing and improving your strength, coordination and functional mobility where it’s most needed in the asana practice.
The structure of the class resembles a workshop set-up. Every week, we will look at one of the complex movements of the Ashtanga asana sequence that are often challenging. We will analyse these complex movements into smaller chunks by assessing their main elements. Then, explore the foundation of the features through coordination, strength and flexibility exercises. At the end of the class, build up the complex movement by bringing the practised elements together.
