Swathi is a dedicated Ashtanga yoga teacher based in Sydney, deeply passionate about guiding students through their yoga journey with lightness, enthusiasm, and support. Her own practice was nurtured and inspired by her teacher, Angelika, who encouraged her to step into the role of a teacher. This mentorship has shaped her teaching philosophy of blending discipline with playfulness.
In her classes, Swathi strives to create a welcoming and empowering space where students feel free to experiment, push their boundaries, and overcome fear. She believes that through exploration and practice, everyone can discover their potential, both on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to Ashtanga or deepening your practice, Swathi is here to guide you with patience and joy, helping you learn new things and grow with confidence.
In her spare time, you can find Swathi at a dog beach or dog park with her two fur babies – 4 and 6mths (an anxious cavoodle and everyone’s friend golden retriever) who are playing fetch or digging a hole!
