Yoga became part of Yuen Yuen’s life in 2011. She was surprised at what an anchor a dedicated practice with the right intent could truly be, during a health challenge and working in a high-stress environment. Over time, she developed a regular and consistent practice of asana, pranayama and meditation, and found that it enabled clarity and stillness.
The completion of the Teacher Training programme at North Sydney Yoga in 2016 allows Yuen Yuen to share the gift of yoga with others. Drawing inspiration on teaching techniques from teachers around her and visiting teachers, she aims to make her classes informative and appropriately challenging. She believes being present and “in tune”, is vital to cultivating a sustainable and safe practice for herself and her students.

Apart from yoga, Yuen Yuen enjoys a good book, is interested in art and architecture and loves spending time with family and friends.
