In Celebration Of Sri K Pattabhi Jois’ 100th Birthday

The film is called “Guruji Lives Here.” This title was chosen because, as was so apparent from all the footage that was received, it is clear that his teachings have been carried throughout the world and live within Ashtangi’s everywhere – even within practitioners who never met him.

From Mary Taylor (one of the creators of the project) “Our hope is that the short film gets out into the world to as many people as possible. For those of us who have a practice we think it will hold strong meaning. And we imagine that for those who don’t have a practice it will serve as an introduction to the practice and the practitioners and inspire more people to test the Ashtanga waters.”
