Two days of exploring internal strength; physically and mentally. We will create awareness for areas in our body many can't connect with.
In this workshop you will gain an understanding of the basic principles of energy seals/gates, and how to integrate them into your asana practice. We will look at some selected postures for clarification, and practice part of the primary series each day to apply what we have learned.
Let's get to the 'core' of things.

Patanjali's Yoga Sutras - Cultivating Motivation for Practice

This workshop will explore questions related to a fundamental theme in the Yoga Sutra of Patanjali: abhyasa and sadhana - the efforts and practice of yoga.
What efforts are required to facilitate the desired changes that Yoga offers? Is effort actually necessary? If so, what kinds of effort and how much? What difficulties and challenges might we expect in the midst of our efforts? And, what can we do to overcome or work through these difficulties, and sustain our motivation and practice?
We all know that change is an inevitable part of life, and in the processes of change, we experience many challenges and suffering.
In this workshop we will explore some of the extraordinary and practical guidance offered in Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra, and reflect on this in light of our own personal experience.
