Graeme has been a dedicated practitioner of Ashtanga Yoga for over 30 years and continues with passion and enthusiasm. He maintains an insightful and investigative approach to practice and teaching and is always excited to share his depth of experience and knowledge with others.
When going to Mysore in 1982, a first memorable meeting with Shri K Pattabhi Jois would ignite a life-long study of and passion for Ashtanga Yoga. He completed the 4th Series in 1991 and was certified by Pattabhi Jois to teach Primary through to Advanced B Series.
Leonie: "My first Ashtanga class was with Graeme in Lismore, August 1986. Those next 18 months of practice, and Graeme himself, had a huge impact on the way I was to move through life and 24 years later, I remain committed to Graeme and the practice and teaching of Ashtanga.
The place from which I now practice and teach has been influenced and informed by many modalities and passions.
My view is simple and holistic: to bring people back into balance through their connection to their bodies and the Earth."

You will also learn how to activate the chakras through sound and visualization and how to harness to creative force of Kundalini for spiritual break-through experiences. Gregor will also introduce to the yogic methods of harnessing the power of the subconscious mind, which will strongly increase your ability to meditate. He will also not only explain how to do the methods but the reasoning behind them according to yogic philosophy such as the Yoga Sutra and other texts.
This workshop will step-by-step expose the methods to practice the yogic limbs of pratyahara (independence from external stimuli), dharana (concentration) and dhyana (meditation proper) and how you can integrate them into your daily practice.
